National Transportation Company is looking for an individual to start as a temporary employee in their surface transportation department. Individual performance and abilities will determine if the person is hired as the full time associate when the position becomes available in a full time role. We are looking for a strong talented person.
Knowledge and Skills Required
• Transportation knowledge
• Carrier knowledge
• Freight knowledge - NMFC
• Customer Service skills and experience
• Excel, Word, and Outlook Skills
• Phone communication skills
Experience Needed
• Experience and Knowledge of five years or more in transportation
• Experience working with and in transportation/distribution and billing
• Understand detailed processes as they relate to customers and vendors
• Ability to operate in a windows software environment (excel, word)
• Experience in the area of general accounting distribution, to include customer service and distribution activities
• Ability to work within a schedule and prioritize work to meet deadlines.
• A self- starter and detail oriented.
Starting temporary wage will be approximately $30,000 a year based on hourly wages though a local temporary agency. This position requires a 40 hour a work with possible overtime.
