A small size commercial construction firm is looking for a full-time Office Manager/Bookkeeper. Our main office is located in Federal Way and we have been in business for over 30+ years. This is a full-time position Monday – Friday, 8:00am – 4:30pm. Please send cover letter, resume and salary requirement.
Requirements:
• Minimum 7+ years as full charge bookkeeper
• Proficiency in Quickbooks, Excel, Word and Outlook is required
• Highly organized and detail oriented
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Able to work independently and complete assigned tasks
• Self-motivated and team player
• Dependable
• Good phone and professional conversational skills
• Looking for someone to grow in the position so to expand and assist in other day to day operation activities
• Professional appearance and outgoing personality
Responsibilities:
• A/R, A/P, monthly billings, invoicing, collecting receivables, revenue filing, tax filing and recording
• Account reconciliations
• General Journal Entries
• Back Reconciliations
• Weekly Payroll Administration and Processing
• Administrative duties such as: filing, typing, word processing, answering phones, operating front desk and basic office tasks
• Support of company executives
• Copy, fax, retrieve documents & distribute daily mail. Includes sorting & filing.
• Order & maintain general office supplies.
• Maintain office & common areas to ensure they are neat & presentable
• Provide assistance to office & field personnel
• Interface with clients, suppliers, & contractors
