Hi There~ I've been playing a steel string acoustic guitar for three years. I've had very little previous music experience and I'm looking for someone with a similar background. I enjoy working with others who have "similar" talent. It's really something to watch people grow over time and hoping I'm one of those! I've learned (and am still learning) to read music and want to find someone who also is learning to read music and is a beginner, like me. I'm not interested in "performing" and feel fortunate to have both a teacher and a mentor. I'm middle aged and if you're new to reading music and playing an instrument and would like to get together, contact me!

24 Track High-Definition Recording $15 /hr....Normal Force Productions (Auburn)

If you want it to be on TV, it has to be in HD.
The recording studio here at Normal Force Productions boasts 24 simultaneous high-definition tracks (96 Khz, 24 bit). The facilities include a total of five isolated rooms. The largest of these is the 1,000 square foot, 25,000 cubic foot, "drum room" also known as rehearsal Room 1 (shown below). This, of course, means that the entire band can be tracked at the same time and all in high definition. With personalized headphone monitoring, everybody gets a comfortable mix to play with. With AD conversion by RME, tube pre's on every channel, top of the line cables throughout, and some of the best microphones available today (Neumann, Rode, AKG, Sennheiser, Audix, Sure), you're sure to get top quality recordings, at an economical price, and in less time than the other guys. I also carry a few toys that the other guys might not have, like Torq Connectiv, Vox Tonelab SE, and Roland V-drums.

Right now I'm offering rates of $15 per hour.

Thank you.

Washed up older bass player (50) with fantastic sense of rhythm looking for working or near working band that needs a guy who can learn a butt load of songs in a short amount of time. Back up and lead vocals when needed. Have played top 40,country, blues, 80's wave, wedding receptions, and assorted hanukkah and bar mitzvah favorites. Have pro gear, truck, day job, and a raging need to exhibit my sorry self to drunken bar patrons and women with low self-esteem. Haven't met a beer I couldn't drink or a restraining order I couldn't violate. Not looking to get "signed" or bore the audience with 20 minute free form musical masturbation. Just want to have a good time and entertain people. Influences include Bettie Page, Elvis, Deraillers, Blasters, Hank, Social Distortion, Rollins, all of the Merles' (Haggard, Travis, Kilgore) Nana Mouskouri, Chuck Raney, Bootsy, Tommy Shannon, Alfred E. Newman, and Candye Kane.

Music Teaching Studio Space For Rent (Kent Easthill)

Music Studio Space for Rent

I'm an established private lesson music instructor in the Kent area planning to open my own teaching studio and ethnic music instrument business in a commercial space in Fall of 2008. To help cushion the burden of rent I'm seeking fellow musicians / private instructors that would be interested in renting studio space. The space is large enough that you could potentially do additional seasonal programs besides just private instruction for example a flute choir or jazz combo class.

The location is great as it is situated on the busy (104th on the east hill of Kent) Benson highway between Smith and James streets. You are able to draw students from Kent, Renton, Covington, Auburn, Maple Valley and Black Diamond at this location.

This is a space renting opportunity for private music teachers. You get to set your own tuition rates, schedule and do all your own business. I just supply the space and have no say in your affairs. You are not an employee. But joint marketing among the instructors is an option.

I’m a low brass instructor and looking for a mix of instrumental instructors for the studio.

If you teach flute, clarinet, saxophone, oboe, bassoon, trumpet, french horn, drums / percussion, guitar, bass guitar, violin, viola, cello, bass, piano, voice.

Please respond to this posting with your name, contact details, instruments you teach and your bio. I will then give you further information upon your email contact.

Kindermusik and other music programs are welcome to rent as well.
