General Purpose:
Works with the Marketing Communications Manager in the creation of graphic art and visual materials to support Flow’s global brand and marketing/sales efforts. Responsible for supporting both internal and external communications programs for Flow Corporate, several unique product lines, sales, distributors, aftermarket (customer and technical services), customer, as well as Flow’s international divisions and subsidiaries.

Major Duties and Responsibilities:
• Direct a complete creative graphic design process independently from concept to execution, including facilitation of meetings, prioritization of project objectives and deliverables, cost estimates, and determine schedules to meet deadlines for global integrated marketing campaigns and large-scale marketing initiative.
• Design and create marketing collateral, promotional materials and large-format trade show graphics to drive awareness, increase sales, and create brand loyalty.
• Determine the appropriate design medium and layout, necessary imagery, and process to meet the needs of projects.
• Assist with the design of Flow’s websites and email newsletters.
• Work with vendors and consultants to ensure timely completion of projects within budget.
• Oversee printing production including the review of proofs and press checks and communicate with printer on a continuous basis to ensure quality and control budget.
• Develop and manage web-based library of all Flow marketing communications materials to ensure Flow’s graphic and brand standards are easily and consistently applied globally.
• Research creative trends and technological advances for new ideas and materials in graphic design and commercial art and apply this knowledge to develop new mediums of communication to drive revenue and profit.
• Assist with copy writing on projects.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
• 4-year Bachelor’s Degree in Graphic Design.
• Minimum 3 years’ graphic design experience or any such combination of education, experience, and training in focused marketing with demonstrated experience in creating and executing marketing collateral and materials.
• 1 year experience in developing web-ready graphics and web development including HTML, Javascript, CSS, Actionscript, etc.
• Proficient in graphic design principles and the following software: Adobe Creative Suite, including advanced skills in InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, Flash, Dreamweaver and other creative software.
• Experience designing for business-to-business and corporate marketing programs.
• Experience/knowledge of typography, color theory, corporate identity, brand awareness and information design.
• Solid understanding of print production processes and techniques as well as of website structure and the relationship between content, user interface and technology.
• Strong working knowledge of web graphic creation and production methods.
• Multimedia, motion graphic/animation and/or programming experience.
• Photography skills and the ability to use digital camera.
• Video skills, including use of a video camera and skills in video editing software such as Final Cut Pro a plus.
• Creative and detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
• Strong project management skills with the proven ability to juggle and manage multiple projects under tight deadlines.
• Excellent interpersonal communication skills with ability to interact in a team-based organization across multiple locations.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and direction.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficient with Microsoft Windows XP and Microsoft Office.
