ARGH! I paid someone good money to add some banners to the message boards on three of my sites - one site came out perfect, the other two are messed up to say the least. Now she says she can't help me! :(

Is anyone out there good at phpBB? I'm thinking that part of the problem is that one of my sites I may have messed up when I tried to update to phpBB3.

If you're good at or comfortable with phpBB stuff, keep reading PLEASE!

Anyway, here's what I need help with...

1) I need one site checked out http://www.makingbysaving.com/ and confirmed that I did indeed update it correctly to phpBB3.
2) I need the side banner placement fixed so that it doesn't cover up the forums on the left hand side. :(
3) I need the side banner on http://www.playingwhilesaving.com/ placed or fixed so that it doesn't automatically send all the forums underneath it (I don't want folks to have scroll down.)

I'm thinking this is all controlled with the width of the forum, but for the life of me, I can't figure out how to fix it.

While money is tight - especially now that I wasted money paying someone to screw this up for me - I would still LOVE to compensate someone for helping me out. If you check out the sites, you'll see I have a book coming out in September. I get several copies for free. Use of Horse, tack, and arena. You may canter/ lope the horse for reasonable lengths of time.

DV Victim needs transportation to custody hearing in Md. (Kent, Wa.)

My daughter just moved here from Maryland. She has been a victim of domestic violence for many years.
In a hurry to escape the abuse she had to temporarily leave her 12 year old son in Maryland. She has repeatedly
tried to arrange custody and visitation with her sons father to no avail. She has found financial help for an
attorney with an agency in Maryland.
Erika, (my daughter) will speak with the attorney for the first time on July 7th. Sometime after that we will
know more about how long it may be until she has to appear in Maryland for the court hearings.
I simply to not have the money to send Erika to Maryland when the time comes. We have be looking
for help with her airfare every single day for nearly 2 weeks with no luck as of yet.
Any help would be greatly appreciated or if you know of anywhere we could look for assistance that would
be a great help as well.

If you read my ad correctly it would say that I was able to shop at Nordstrom for my kids until now. To be honest kids don't cost that much. Diapers only cost $13 for a box. I breastfeed so that is free. My kids did not bring my to where I am now. The economy did. If you was to see me 6 months ago you would have thought my children are very spoiled. We would go to the mall and my daughter would always get what she wants. In fact I even bought a Juicy Couture stroller because I was able to. I was let go from my job loosing a ton of my income.

I feel bad for you. You must feel really good trying to bring people down. You must be so high and mighty.

Before you make assumption you need to think twice. How are you going to tell me to ask my children's father for help? Do you know my siutation with him? No! For all you know he could be dead, in the milatary, an abuser, ran off, stopped paying child support. So once again gather the facts. Oh and by the way I do not have any family here or anywhere.

Hello Everyone,

I am a mother of three and it lately it has been really hard for me to feed and take care of my family. I do the best I can and am doing it with no help from anyone. Now it has come to a point where I need help. I am a single parent trying to make it in an economy that is pretty bad right now. I have bills to be paid and mouths to feed. I am disabled and have diabettes. I just was laid off from my job and there is not much work I can do but, I do try. I bust my ass looking for work. I have been to school. With my diabetes where it is I just don't have the energy I use to have. We are needing some basic items. Not asking for much. I do not have a car and am on the bus. Delivery would be great and highy appreciated.

Food - Any kind
Toliet Paper
Clothing - Boys 38 and 2X shirts. (Just need for my son he is 13 almost 14)
Any thing would help. We also need help with a light bill.

I am one of those people whom has asked for help today. I have two children. I do my best to support both of my children. I am working and will be starting school. I know someone posted say you can get two jobs but, if you are a single mother with know one but the child care provider to watch your children you can not. It is state law that a child can not be in care for more than 10 hours a day. Also almost all child care facilities are closed on the weekend.

Before I had both of my children I was doing fine up until 3 months ago. I was able to buy expensive things for them like clothing from Nordstrom and boutiques. I was able to go around sporting a $500 umbrella stroller. Now I am stuck shopping second hand and scouring garage sales for a deal. I did not want to end up like this but, did. There is no way I can save a penny. Yes, before I was in this situation I did save but, that went all to rent (which is around $1,000). I really would like to move and I can not since my lease has 5 months left.

I am not one of those people who just have kids and leave it up to that state for support. I try hard. The only thing I am getting is food stamps which is $369 a month. It lasts only until the last week than we are stuck eating scraps. I never imagined this would be me.

Also wanted to say that finding a job was not easy. After being let go it took me months to find a new job. I would fill out application after application. I would send a resume to almost all the jobs posted on Craig's list. Not one would give me a call back. I have multiple people review my resume for errors. They all said, it was perfect. I even had a friend who is a high school teacher write me a cover letter.

I would really suggest you get your facts straight about the economy and peoples situation before you judge.

With my post I asked for $100 and offered work in exchange.

hello my name is leilani and i need a little help i have 6 children two of them are biological and 4 of them are children i took in when i found out they had no where to live they where basicaly homeless. I work very hard i drive an 18 wheeler for a living. Even though i work i am struggling to get caught back up. I am not asking for any kind of hand out what i need is a loan to help me get caught up. I need to borrow aprox 3,000.00 I can pay it back on payments but will discuss the payment plan when some one contacts me. The reason i got behind in my bills is i took a job that pays once a month and because they hold the first check it just kind of snowballed untill i got paid. Now i am trying to catch up but just seems like i catch up a little and another thing sends me right back like i said i am NOT asking for a hand out it would be a loan just a little boost for a woman who loves her children and wants to make sure we can have a place to live. thank you to any one who can help or even give me some suggestions about how to get caught up

We are almost out of food. We are in need of food asap. I went to the food bank but, only received some bread and canned foods that my daughter won't eat. She would rather go hungry than to eat certain foods. If there is anyway you could help that would be great. My daughter likes hotdogs, mac and cheese, hamburgers, ect. We where paid yesterday but it was very little and went straight to rent.
