Summary:
We are a leading professional services firm with an exciting opportunity for a business and marketing content writer to help us build and manage our growing portfolio of written project artifacts. We are looking for a talented business writer to provide professional quality written collateral for business and technical topics. This role will include helping to define and create our internal deliverables documentation. In addition to expert PowerPoint and writing skills, this role requires strong communication and project management abilities.
Job Responsibilities
• Create PowerPoint presentations, how-to guides, reference manuals, user guides and other artifacts for technical and general business content
• Based on existing materials and stakeholder experience, draft and/or edit professional marketing and technical materials
• Design a document management strategy, including building an overall framework for program documents and assimilating existing documents into the framework
• Define processes for creating, updating, reviewing and publishing content
• Develop a company style, style guide and templates to ensure quality and consistency of written materials
• Drive integration across multiple stakeholders to gather input for guides and decks; act as a strong project manager
• Drive overall creation and management of internal IP
Qualifications/Experience:
• Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, business, writing or similar
• 5+ years in marketing, technical writing, or content management
• Ability to create or revise documentation with multiple stakeholders and subject matter experts providing input
• Ability to understand complex content and create simple, elegant presentations from it
• Extensive experience with Microsoft PowerPoint
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Strong attention to detail
This is a contract, part-time position to last approximately 6 months.
