We are working with a specialty engineering firm in Downtown Seattle. We are seeking a Technical Writer/ Marketing Specialist to support their marketing and business development initiatives, with a primary focus in the development of Requests for Qualifications and Proposals. We are looking for an individual who can interface with a wide-range of professionals to understand requested needs and translate that information into thoughtfully articulated marketing content appropriate for the intended audience.
Duration: Direct Hire
Pay: DOE
Location: Downtown Seattle
This position requires someone with strong communication skills – both written and verbal – with the ability to think critically under pressure and discern prospective clients in conversation.
Position Requirements:
Education: Relevant 4 year degree (i.e., English, Journalism, Marketing, Communications)
Experience: minimum 5 years in a relevant position. This is a content focused job, and requires strong writing/ editing skills, an eye for detail, excellent time management and organizational skills. Experience in the Architectural/Engineering/Construction industry, preferably engineering is highly desirable.
Personality: responsible, accountable and flexibility a must. The successful candidate is one who can effectively work in a team environment in a fast pace office. It is critical to be well organized and able to recall information quickly and accurately to meet workload demands.
Computer skills: MS Office, database programs, Adobe InDesign a plus
