Smashing Ideas Inc is seeking an ActionScript Developer for our studio. Work on a wide variety of projects for a stellar roster of clients. Collaborate with a team of producers, designers and animators to create world-class games, websites, social media applications and other compelling, entertaining, and educational digital experiences.

Responsibilities
• Participate in project brainstorms
• Write technical specifications and documentation
• Be the developer on the project from start to finish
• Self-manage your tasks and time
Minimum Requirements
• 2+ years developing Flash/ActionScript content
• ActionScript 3.0 (provide code samples)
• Flash games and applications
• JavaScript
• Object-Oriented Programming and Design Patterns
• Ability to communicate proactively and collaborate with teammates
• Motivated to work on both fast-paced and highly engineered projects
• Strong English written and verbal communication skills
Ideal
• BA in Computer Science or equivalent
• Experience creating frameworks, templates and documentation for others to use
• Flash Remoting and/or Flash Media Server,
• FLEX RIAs
• Flash Lite 1.1-3.1
• Proficiency in other technologies such as C/C++, C#, Cocoa/Objective C, other
• Server-side development (PHP, ASPX, CF, Java, SQL, other)
