Web Site/e-Commerce Program Manager
Rapidly-growing, small, telecommunications company wishes to hire a Web Site/e-Commerce Program Manager for a full-time salaried position. To be successful in this position, one needs to be a motivated problem-solver and must be naturally curious about all aspects of business operations. The Program Manager must be able to translate our business concepts into executable projects.
Primary Responsibilities:
• Project planning, budgeting, execution & effective project status reporting
• Tracking & oversight of internal and external personnel
• Quality Control Oversight - testing outsourced
• Direct Responsibility for e-commerce generated through the website.
• Oversee SEO and SEM activity. Manage PPC campaigns.
• Must be able to make nominal site updates as well as manage outsourced programmers
Qualifications:
• BA/BS in business, marketing, computer science or a related field of study from an accredited college or university.
• Experience in project management including bug tracking, web updates, web site fixes and improvements.
• Experience with Subversion or other version control system, bugzilla, lamp server (linux, apache, mysql, php).
• Proficiency in CSS, HTML, DHTML, ASP.NET, and Flash.
• Experience managing programmers - in house and outsourced.
• Experience working with e-commerce websites.
• Ability to understand business needs and translate these into requirements.
• Ability to communicate well with both technical and non-technical people.
• Demonstrated ability to read and interpret technical information.
• Experience with online ad placement, social media and SEO.
• Multi-lingual a plus but not mandatory.
• 2-3 years of relevant experience.
