We're looking for Talent with a capital T. Why a PAID internship? Because we want the best, and the best deserve to get paid - even when they are an intern!

We're a Seattle headquartered email marketing firm called Email Broadcast (http://www.emailbroadcast.com). We do email marketing right for brands that ROCK! We're looking for a member of our team that can handle the following:

In order of importance:
=================
* Ability to work on-site during work hours M-F 12 hours per week. We're flexible on what those hours are and even your start date, but this is not a moonlighting gig.
* A professional, no drama, no excuses, positive attitude and great work ethic. We show up on time AND have fun.
* Stone cold HTML and XHTML skills. Mostly these are table based layouts. Attention to minute detail is critical.
* Your primary work will be to take existing Adobe .PSD files, slice them up into images, and code a table based email template that has code as pure as snow. If you have experience coding for Email (it's different than coding for the web) make sure you mention that. You'll also be updating these same templates with new monthly content.
* You'll also be updating our website when needed. You should be able to work with .ASP, Flash, PHP and the other elements that make our website hum.
* Good Adobe Photoshop skills - we may need you to create a new template with input from our art director, or radically alter an existing one before we slice and code. This is more of an HTML coding internship than a design one, but you should have some good general skills and know your way around Photoshop.
* Good to great design skills. Understanding of layout, colors, graphic elements, white space, fonts, texture, lighting, etc.
* Creative and bold thinker that loves advertising, sales, persuasion and is full of ideas. Do you tear up at beautiful ads with the perfect copy and font? We want you.

What we offer
================
* An inspiring work loft location with huge windows, 15 foot ceilings, hardwood floors, great music and cool people doing great work they're proud of for awesome clients.
* REAL experience that will not only look great on your resume, but actually teach you real skills.
* We also want your creativity for our all hands meetings when we brainstorm client ideas. You will not be stuck in a dark corner doing only coding, but a full fledged team member.
* All this and a paycheck too? Yep, we're offering some compensation for this internship so we can be picky. This could also lead to a part or full-time position with us.

We are NOT interested in hiring a firm (domestic or foreign) for this position. It's an in-house position that needs face-to-face interaction. All replies to this posting will be ignored - only those that follow directions below will be considered.

Next Steps:
==============
Impress us by following directions:

1. Email your resume to "resumes at emailbroadcast.com" with subject line of "Web Internship"
2. Include a paragraph about why you are perfect for the internship.
3. Include any scheduling issues we need to consider including when you can start, and when you have to move on.
4. Include a link to your design portfolio or links to sites that you have built by yourself.
