Web Designer - Internship

The ideal candidates will have experience with the entire creative process through the course of design, development, and implementation. Candidate will offer graphical support to web-based applications, including conceptualizing original artwork, strategic design, production, and html/asp/php layout. Candidate must demonstrate a good understanding of the principles of design for both static and data driven sites, use of color, graphic user interface design, site mapping and other graphic design techniques. Your accomplishments as an contracted intern, curiosity, intellect, and unsurpassed skill may solidify a full-time position with our company.

Responsibilities:
Designing and developing a top-tier website that will serve as the face of our company
Maintaining and revising site as necessary to improve user experience and branding
Making actionable and insightful recommendations to management for site upgrades
Requirements:
2+ years of web design experience
Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, Acrobat, DreamWeaver, Flash, Microsoft Office Suite
Familiarity with Web Standards, HTML, XHTML,CSS, JavaScript, ASP, .NET, Ajax, Cold Fusion
Outstanding written and oral communication skills
Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment or with minimum supervision
Reliable transportation and can work a pre-set schedule
