A great full-time opportunity with a fantastic corporation client!
Our client is looking for a User Experience Designer to work with their team. You will be designing the user experience for the online web sites.
You MUST have 10+ years of experience as a user experience designer, interaction designer, user interface designer, information architect, or similar role for consumer-oriented web sites.
You must also have knowledge of key web development technologies including JavaScript, DHTML, HTML, CSS, XML, Flash and understanding of SEO.
You will work very closely with other online teams to translate product roadmaps into functional, user friendly site implementations. The ideal candidate will have strong working knowledge of key web development technologies and design applications, and will be a creative thinker as well as a technical problem solver.
Main responsibilities will include:
-Promoting usability best practices
-Design the UI architecture, interface, interaction flow and aesthetics of web applications and web sites
-Develop conceptual diagrams, wireframes, prototypes, visual mockups, graphic assets, and maintain detailed user-interface specifications
The following are a plus:
• Ability to prototype in HTML, JavaScript, CSS, and/or Flash,
Create illustrations for stylized graphic artwork and icons, and a history of acquiring user data (e.g., conducting usability studies, performing user research)!
