Got Extra Blankets, Hats, or Gloves? (U-District)

ROOTS Young Adult Shelter is a homeless shelter in the U-District, serving homeless youth, ages 18-25. We provide a place to sleep, two warm meals, laundry, shower, and phone facilities, and clothing for our guests. If you would like to donate, we welcome all donations, but are in need of these items the most:
-Blankets of any size (They don't need to be in great condition.)
-Hats/gloves
-Men's clothing, especially sizes L, XL, and XXL
-Jackets, especially sizes L, XL, and XXL
If you would like to donate, we are located at 1415 NE 43rd St. in the alley across from Cafe Allegro. The entrance is the blue doors. You can drop off donations anytime between 10am-4pm or 8pm-9pm, Monday-Sunday. If this does not work, please call or email to let us know when you'll be coming.
