Job Description:

The primary responsibility of the Sales Account Manager is to develop and grow truckload, less than truckload and inter-modal client relationships that deliver positive results for both the client and 4 Elements. The Sales Account Manager will work with the Seattle Branch to focus on specific geographic areas to develop, manage and enhance relationships with clients that purchase 4 Element’s product line. Additionally, the Logistics Sales Executive is accountable to provide market updates, account analysis and market/account deviations. The Sales Account Manager will work directly with the Seattle Branch Logistics Coordinators to deliver a superior client experience.

Roles & Responsibilities:

1. Initiate contact with prospective clients by introducing the 4 Elements Brand & Product Line. Develop geographic specific plans according to clients’ needs and abilities that coordinate with the line of business requirements.
2. Daily communication should be a balance between 50+ cold calls per day along with current account relationship improvement.
3. Develop superior customer service with geographic, carrier, equipment and customer market knowledge as well as increasing daily load counts with market knowledge.
4. Establish relationships with clients and industry experts to maintain a pulse on the competitive landscape of the market to be most effective in a selling environment.
5. Drive growth in KPI results (revenue, price increases, margin improvement, Inbound/outbound lane relationships, backhauls, etc.).
6. Interface with functional units to include Operations, Vendors, Sales Team, Branch Network and IT to ensure successful execution of the service offerings to clients.
7. Maintain complete knowledge of client’s seasonal patterns for use to supplement network or market imbalance. Work to maximize branch profitability by balancing client base.
8. Ability to handle advanced web based TM System (Primarily Data Input & Sales Analytics), Invoicing & Collections.
9. Quote and negotiate brokerage services based upon lane knowledge and Logistics Coordinator Approval.
10. This position will be expected to meet individual business growth, gross margin/revenue and KPI metrics.
11. Other tasks & duties to be determined as needed.

Position Requirements:
1. Minimum College Degree (Bachelor's)
2. Entry Level -1 Year experience in the 3PL Industry.
3. Computer Skills (Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Outlook, Internet Navigation)
4. Excellent Communication Skills
