Beautiful 16 Inch Tilting Table Saw - $1000 (Renton)
This is a circa 1930s cast iron table saw. This saw is from the hay-day of industrial equipment. It does not have a name that I have found, only a large "16" cast into one side.
I love this saw for what it represents; quality, durability and the simple elegance of the American Industrial Know-how of days gone by.
It weighs 1200 pounds and is very clean with what seems to be the original paint. It has some minor surface rust on the table top. The table lift action is smooth as is the tilt action. The fence is complete as is the single t-square. I have installed new oil cups and felt. The newer cast babit bearings are in good shape and have alot of life left. The 3 HP motor needs some work to its centrifical switch but does spin up. Includes used blade, table extention, starter/contactor, and blade wrench as well.
The saw is ready for restoration (my original intent).
It shares the same fence and t-square that older Oliver equipment and others used. It is currently on two pallets for easier handling.
