Job Description and Responsibilities:
Focusing primarily on online multiplayer related bugs, this position requires a deep understanding of downloadable console titles that contain online multiplayer elements. This multiplayer tester will be expected to
be the primary point of contact for all multiplayer and networking related software bugs.

Requirements:
An understanding of general home networking, as well as having the ability to troubleshoot issues and clearly report the problems to the programming team. Previous experience at any third party test vendor or plaform holder QA department is a requirement. Candidate must have previously worked on at least one online multiplayer downloadable console title and successfully tested that product through certification.

Other Requirements:
Demonstrate a deep understanding of bug detection, research, and documentation. Strong knowledge and application of TRC Guidelines. Intermediate/advanced knowledge and experience in QA testing of Online
titles/applications (connectivity, networking, protocol, server side infrastructure, terminology, NAT Types, etc). Ability to set up and adapt testing stations for various networking and mulitplayer test cases.

Even more Requirements:
Strong communication skills. Working knowledge of Word, Excel and Bugzilla (or other bug tracking software). Minimum of 12 months of QA testing experience. Sense of humor. Really.

Duties:
You will be expected to develop a testing strategy, maintain a productive and efficient test environment, and assist in various other tasks. Generation of reports and documentation, information tracking, internal and
external department communication, and more. Multitasking is very important for this position. As we are a small team, you will be often asked to contribute to projects outside of testing; you may find yourself working on tasks as various as packing merchandise, moving boxes, running cables, and of course, attending tradeshows. Prepare proper documentation for and attend all meetings, conference calls, etc. in regards to
the assigned project.

Responsibilities:
Determine daily testing priorities and schedule tasks to meet priorities. Be accountable for the tracking and documentation of various aspects of the project throughout the QA test cycle including responsibility for the
completion and verification of bug regressions; develop test plans; online functionality verification; TRC compliance testing, etc. Acquire an in-depth knowledge of the title in order to develop and implement testing
strategies for the project.

The location for this position is San Diego California, it is not a telecommuting position. Compensation TBD + moving allowance.
