Data Operations is the heart of the information utilized by the business. Our Data Operations Administrators provide support and solutions for data related needs. This position needs an analytical and out of the box thinker who is able to dig in to understand the process and/or need behind a request or situation. The individual should be able to change pace and direction at anytime.
Duties include:
Provide support for the tools and processes for internal and external clients
Ensure the accuracy of data through analysis
Generate and publish reporting for internal and external clients
Run SQL queries for daily tasks; able to write simple queries
Respond to client communications efficiently and accurately
Create or update process documentation when applicable
Successfully convey technical subject matter to non-technical associates
Successfully translate their business requirements into technical objectives and then deliver on those objectives
Qualifications include:
2+ yrs working experience in an Information Technology (IT) or Financial (Data Reporting) Department
Bachelors degree in Business, IS, or Computer Science is desirable.
Knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server; Basic SQL and database knowledge, which includes running and writing select and join queries (1-2 years exp)
Advanced Microsoft Excel knowledge; includes pivots and formulas (2 years experience)
Overall comfortable working with Microsoft Office Software (2-3 years experience)
SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS) experience is a plus
Ability to confidently communicate with both the technical services team and end users of all experience levels alike
Must be detail oriented, flexible, and able to multi-task
Must be trustworthy, competent and confident
Must be highly self motivated and able to meet timelines
