Seattle Public Schools (www.seattleschools.org) has an opening in our Department of Technology Services for an SAP HCM ABAP Developer. The District is using SAP ECC 6.0 for both Human Resources and Finance business processes. We are recruiting a systems professional with proven skills in SAP ABAP Programming and testing in a Windows/SQL Server environment. The successful candidate will join a team of SAP analysts and technicians supporting our SAP infrastructure. Specific emphasis for support will be placed on working with other members of the support team in configuring and testing enhancements to the portal and self-services environment. The starting salary depends on qualifications and experience. The benefits package includes medical, dental, vision, long-term disability insurance and Washington State Retirement, and a generous vacation/leave package. We are located just south of Safeco Field in Seattle and offer free off-street parking.
QUALIFICATIONS
Candidates must possess:
o Bachelor’s degree in a related field; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
o A minimum of 3 years of related experience as a developer or equivalent position with a minimum of 1 year supporting SAP Human Resources, Payroll, and Benefits.
o An in-depth understanding of HCM (HR/Payroll/Benefits) business processes
o A keen analytical capability and troubleshooting expertise.
o Experience in the following:
oo Working with ABAP Objects
oo Developing custom reports and interfaces
oo Creating Queries
o Excellent multi-tasking and written and verbal communication skills
o Authorization to work in the United States is required
Ideal candidates will have:
o SAP EP 7, NetWeaver 7.0 Experience
o Java WebDynpro
o SAP Portal content management experience
o HCM Processes and Forms Experience
o Employee Self Service (ESS) / Manager Self Service (MSS)
o Portal Workflow
