ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
• Creates web-based solutions with focus on clean, effective user interface that use web 2.0 fundamentals.
• Develops scalable templates and widgets using AJAX, JavaScript, CSS, and DHTML, and java based technologies.
• Implements flexible, scalable designs using best practices and with little oversight required.
• Designs, develops, creates, tests, modifies and maintains software for internet applications.
• Analyzes/Implements proprietary and 3rd party enterprise applications/APIs to meet and exceed business needs.
• Interfaces with internal and external developer teams and business users.
Required:
• Web 2.0 design/development experience (2+ years)
• experience with AJAX, CSS, and XML
• Strong understanding and development of web sites/applications backed by a database
• Successful user interface implementations and usability methodologies
Preferred:
• JSP or XSL development
• Web service implementations
• Experience with AB/multivariate testing and web analytics
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related technical field
SKILLS REQUIRED
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong computer science skills
• Ability to plan, schedule, execute, and complete work in a self-directed mode from inception through to production.
• Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously, meeting different schedules and deadlines.
• Good work management skills
• Ability to understand and apply best practices
• Self-starter that works well with others
