We are currently recruiting for a Senior Software Engineer for a full-time position with an established startup in Seattle. Our client is growing and promoting from within, thus creating this fantastic opportunity where you will work as a senior contributor to a product that helps users discover information on the web. Your job will be to work on the system that goes out, grabs and then processes the unstructured content. Web crawling, natural language processing and data mining. An ideal candidate will have:
BS degree in Computer Science. MS preferred.
6-8 years of development experience in an agile environment
4 years of Java development experience
2 years of database experience: scaling, data modeling and optimization
Bonus points for:
Machine learning, data mining, NLP, web crawling or feed processing experience
Ruby experience
