Robert Half Technology is recruiting a Business Analyst for our growing client that has been in business since 2003. This is a contract to hire opportunity with a stable company so don't miss out. They are focused on Software as a Service to measure, interpret and provides actionable recommendations to improve quality of service for their clients.
Description: You will work closely with product management, marketing, user experience design, internal operations and client services teams to understand the product requirements. You will also be working closely with the software development, QA, project management and other technical program managers to understand the current system functionality and technical architecture. You will be responsible for translating the product requirements into technical specifications documents, taking into account both the product and technical considerations. Throughout the project lifecycle, you will be responsible for providing any requirement clarifications to the development and QA teams and keeping the technical specifications documents current. This position will also be responsible for co-developing the product rollout plan with the product and project management and be responsible for developing end user documentation. The individual may also carry out project management (scrum master) duties from time to time.
Qualifications:
3+ years of experience as business analyst in a software development organization
Deep understanding and experience with writing functional and technical requirements for a software product.
Experience working for Telecom or hardware vendors is not applicable.
Experience working with product management and marketing teams; skilled at interviewing users and translating abstract requirements into actionable specifications
Talent and experience in managing projects and cross-functional teams
Experience on 6 month life cycles
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Willingness to go extra mile to get job done; “can do” attitude
B.A./B.S. degree in computer science or related discipline or
A.A. degree and 5+ years of experience
Preferred:
Experience with call center monitoring, analytics and recording applications
Prior experience as a software developer or QA engineer
Experience with Software-as-a-Service product development
Startup experience
MBA or other relevant advanced degree
PMP or Certified Scrum Master
