Built-e, a Seattle-based national distributor of sustainable building and finishing materials and a division of Ecohaus, is seeking an experienced Seattle-based Sales Representative to join our team. This position is responsible for national account development activities dealing with green-building stores, flooring dealers, fabricators, hardware stores, installers, architects and designers. Our wide assortment of quality, eco-friendly products are used in residential and commercial projects.

Responsibilities:
• Develop national accounts in key markets
• Excel in customer service follow up, negotiating and product knowledge
• Set account growth goals and develop plans for achieving those goals
• Represent company at local trade shows and events
• Manage leads and customers using CRM system
• Follow-through every opportunity from lead to order and satisfaction follow-up
• Educate customers on the opportunities that exist with sustainable building materials
• Work closely with all internal departments to ensure customer satisfaction
• Schedule appointments and travel plans while operating within budget

Qualifications:
• 2+ yrs sales experience in building related materials
• Thrive on creating accounts vs. taking orders
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Demonstrated success in the development and maintenance of a customer base
• Proven history of meeting or exceeding sales goals
• A passion for teamwork, problem solving and achieving results
• Flexibility to work a schedule that meets the needs of the business, including occasional evening and weekend trade shows
• Ability to travel throughout the U.S.
• Experience with POS systems
• Proficiency in most MSFT Office applications
• Familiarity with use of CRM system
• Ability to work independently

Pluses:
• Familiarity with green-building, LEED certification, FSC standards
• Experience in the sales of flooring, finishes, countertops, and plaster
• Possess existing network of national customer contacts and account base
• Bachelor's degree in a related field
