ALK Abello’ Source Materials, Inc., a leading manufacturer of quality allergenic biological source materials, and a member of the global ALK-Abello’ group of companies, is recruiting for our open Quality Technician II position. Join our stable and growing company and provide leadership and expertise to our workforce located in our new 80,000 square food facility in Post Falls, ID.
Become part of our talented Quality team and participate in the inspection and release of product to our customers. The position is responsible for preparing for and conducting tests of products, processes and equipment, recording required documentation, periodic evaluation and maintenance of test equipment as well as maintaining traceability of laboratory samples. In addition, the position will also assist in release reviews, investigations, validations and qualifications, as well as appropriate disposal of testing materials.
The successful candidate will have a Bachelor’s degree in Microbiology or Chemistry or a combination of education and experience in a highly regulated environment or laboratory setting. Experience with biochemical and immunological assays is preferred (ELISA, RID, SDS-Page, RAST). Must have an ability to work with Quality Systems and Regulatory requirements such as: GMP, FDA, OSHA, and European Authority. Must have good reading, writing, math and communication skills.
All positions require the ability to work around hazardous chemicals and allergenic antigens and candidates must be able to become medically qualified to use a respirator without restrictions as well as comply with required safety practices.
