Windows System Administrator
Our client, a leading provider of high profile/high traffic e-commerce solutions, has an immediate need for a System Administrator to install, deploy, and maintain its Windows based production systems. In this role you will be responsible for ensuring the seamless operation of mission critical systems based on Windows Server, SQL Server, and Active Directory. This will include taking proactive measures, as well as resolving issues to maintain high availability systems. You will also be responsible for supporting related hardware and software. To be successful in this position you must have:
- 3+ years experience with Windows Server in the enterprise.
- Experience with SQL Server
- Strong networking experience, including working with LDAP and Active Directory.
- Experience with storage sub-systems.
- Ability to automate tasks with shell scripting.
- Ability to multi-task and prioritize in a dynamic environment.
- Ability to work well independently as well as in a group.
- Excellent communication skills (verbal, written, presentation).
- Ability to drive issues to completion.
- Experience with virtualization is a strong plus.
- Degree in a related field and/or related certifications (MCSE, MCP, CCNA, etc.) are a strong plus.
