Who?
Me - I am a non-smoker, work 8-5, am looking for someone who keeps similar hours, but not a stickler about it. I am physically active & live a reasonably healthy lifestyle. I occasionally have friends over and have been known to throw a party or barbecue once in a while, but the default is for the house to be quiet enough to relax and feel comfortable. I am most interested in finding someone who is a good fit in the house.
You – Professional, mature, non-smoking, male or female housemate with experience living in shared housing and looking for a great place to live! You are responsible (pay bills on time), respectful, considerate (not excessively noisy), & clean up after yourself. If you think it's cool to leave dirty dishes lying around on a regular basis, this probably wont work out.
I will not consider anyone who does not pass credit and background checks.
Also, no pot smoking (or any other illegal drugs) allowed on the premises.
Pets are a possibility (I am allergic to cats so it/they would need to stay downstairs), but any potential animal would have to interview with the dog who rules the house -- if she doesn't approve, then no dice.

The available space is a newly remodeled daylight basement (~1100 square feet) with it’s own entrance. This space is very clean & roomy with a large living/media room, bedroom with full closet, 3/4 bathroom, & bonus room/office/whatever you want it to be, utility room & shared storage. Basically, the whole downstairs is yours; the utility room with washer and dryer and kitchen are common/shared areas. There is also a nice deck with a view & huge backyard (currently unfenced), which are shared.

West Seattle - Shorewood area – Nice, quiet neighborhood, close to grocery stores, Westwood Village, downtown & freeways.

How much?
I am asking $800 per month plus utilities (cable/internet, water/sewer/garbage, electricity - to be split 50/50). I would prefer someone long-term, willing to sign a least a 6 month or 1 yr lease.
