WHAT: there's a cozy room available on the main floor of this spacious house. It has hardwood floors, windows that face east and a open closet.
The house, built in 1903, has lots of character and large windows for an abundance of natural light. Colorful art fills the walls. The kitchen's a cook's dream. It has a shiny new gas stove, dishwasher, expansive counter space, tons of bulk foods and herbs at your disposal. The high-ceilinged big dining room perfect for house meals and dinner parties. The whole house gets wireless Internet. The huge basement is great for storage and has a new eco-washer and dryer. Outside, we have a large backyard deck overlooking Seattle with three BBQs and tones of garden beds.
WHERE: The house is right on the border of Leschi and the Central District, on a hill overlooking Lake Washington to the east, and downtown to the west. We're a short walk from the lake, forest trails, a library, a playing field and coffee shops. A 10 minute bike ride will get you to Capitol Hill, the International District, Trader Joe's, Madison Market and the downtown waterfront.

MONEY MATTERS: The room is $575 per month plus 1/5 utilities and as a communal house we all take responsibilities for keeping it full of dreamy housemates.
