We have a main-floor bedroom available in an 8-bedroom, 2-bathroom house. (See photos below.)
The household is a mix of men and women in their 20’s and 30’s who are working fulltime or in graduate school. Housemates lead independent lives, but share decisions and chores to maintain a clean, pleasant home. We are seeking someone who is responsible, considerate, and easy to get along with. No drugs, smoking, or furry pets, please.
The house is close to bus lines 16, 26, 44 and 43 with quick access to UW, Northgate, downtown, and Ballard. There is on-street parking and an enclosed porch for bikes.
The room is clean, carpeted, and gets good natural light from two windows. There is one closet and a built-in storage alcove. It is unfurnished; however, we can provide a twin bed and small desk at no extra charge if needed.
$400/month, $300 deposit. Housemates share utilities and DSL. We (the landlords) pay for water, sewer and garbage. There is a one-year lease, but only a six-month stay is required for refunding the deposit.
