Red Ballard 3br house seeks one new roommate, might be you! Nice house built in 1900, in very friendly neighborhood, East Sunset Hill area. We have a big garden, big back yard, spiffy 1970’s kitchen and clean 1 1/2 baths (thanks to your help with occasional cleaning requests), W+D, with bike shed, fire pit, patriotic oil heat, backup woodstove, Wi-Fi, BBQ, blender, Etc.. You can easily walk to downtown Ballard from here, Java Bean, Hatties Hat, Locks, Golden Gardens park, Puget Sound, 1/2 block to downtown #18 bus. The middle smaller room is available upstairs, and includes a 5’ long hanging closet, two double hung windows, big crawl in storage closet, wood floors, and it's quiet.
I am a small marine business owner, boat guy, sailor, work a lot, involved in Ballard community events, and like having people around. Dave is a biodiesel guy, supporting community environmental action, tech day job. I am looking for a responsible person who wants to live in Ballard, prefers wild Pacific salmon to those nasty pen reared Atlantics, doesn't smoke, can reliably cough up the rent, and would enjoy life in fun Ballard. Room is available now. M or F Okay. You must have first ($400) and last ($400), and $150 deposit, total $950 in cash please to move in. Utilities run about $50 - $75/Mo, split 3 ways. No smoking in/out, please.
Please tell me a few things about yourself, in your reply to speed things up, like:
1.) If you have roommate experience. ( I myself have always liked having people around, and have lived in a lot of roommate houses.)
2.) Why a commute from Ballard or living here would work for you. (I work in Ballard 50% of the time, perfect!)
3.) What you do for work and play. (I sail boats, garden, watch condos being built, travel, dance the Zydeco, for fun myself.)

Thanks,

John
