The Apparel team at Amazon.com is looking for an experienced Senior Instock Manager/Inventory Planner from an apparel or internet retailer. This position is responsible for developing and executing category level sales and inventory strategies to maximize margin and inventory turns. In this role, you will have end to end ownership of the inventory from manufacturer to end customer. You will also build strong partnership with the merchandising team to drive toward common goals. To succeed in the role, you must possess the ability to operate from a company-wide perspective and will need to encourage cross-functional and cross-business project development. Previous apparel or internet experience is required, and color/size assortment management is a plus.

The ideal candidate will have 5-7 years of relevant experience either as a planner or buyer. They must be highly organized, self-starting, and comfortable with computer programs (such as Excel and Access). Strong numerical and analytical aptitude is a must, with the ability to process large quantities of data to get results. The successful candidate must be flexible, possess good written and oral communication skills, be team oriented, and able to meet tight deadlines while working on several projects simultaneously.
