Warehouse/Stores Clerk / Procurement Coordinator

Perform routine receiving storing/locating, picking of materials, components, and assemblies as well shipping a wide range of items from small parts to Calypso consoles. Perform routine administrative support functions for the materials department.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS / MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

Warehouse Clerk (approximately 66%):
• Perform receiving activities for inventory and non-inventory items and perform purchasing system transactions
• Stock inventory parts and perform relative inventory system transaction
• Cycle count inventory locations and reconcile discrepancies
• Pick parts and perform kitting transactions in inventory system
• Prepare products for shipment to customers and perform transactional associated with shipping
• Update Excel spreadsheets, Power Point presentations, and Word documents (procedures)
• Manage, prioritize assignments, and keep supervisor updated on the status of assignments.

Purchasing Coordinator (approximately 33%):
• Production Purchasing - Analyze MRP and release new orders and reschedule orders to suppliers.
• Enter purchase requisitions into Syspro
• Expedite late PO deliveries with suppliers.
• Enter PO acknowledgements in Syspro. Confirm price, delivery dates and quantities match the original PO.
• Research and close old purchase orders.

SECONDARY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Follow all company safety policies and procedures while ensuring quality work.
• Handle changing priorities and other duties as required.

SCOPE OF WORK
• Operates within some standard guidelines, but must engage in some independent decision-making.
• Responsible for their own work products.
• Mistakes can impact the quality and availability inventory.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
• Requires High School diploma, or equivalent.
• Ability to follow and implement policies and procedures required of this position.

SKILLS, ABILITIES AND OTHER REQUIREMENTS
• Ability to use and understand applicable modules of ERP system.
• Ability to use digital parts counting scale, Fed Ex input terminal and operate pallet jack/ forklift.
• Basic math skills and applications. Working knowledge of Word and Excel.
• Ability to manage time effectively; take initiative to aid fellow employee’s
• Strong written and oral communication skills

JOB CONDITIONS
• 2% local travel
• Performs continuous repetitive tasks.
• Overtime required during peak intervals and project deadlines.
• May lift and load up to 60 lbs from a standing position to a minimum height of five feet.
• With a second person, may lift and load up to 130 lbs from a standing position to a minimum height of five feet.
