So, recently I watched this documentary on Guantanamo Bay, Patriot Act, Geneva Convention, Bush being an idiot, what not, ya know? Well, it opened my eyes. Today I did alot of things against the government (well, a few little things like tresspassing in the rich neighbors yard and whatnot!). They're probably gonna hunt me down now, though. Oh well, worth it.
My favorite bumper sticker is "Oh, well. I wasn't using my civil liberties anyways." Nice one.
I just want to encourage people to see how horrible our country has become. No longer can we clain to be that city on a hill. We are so much worse off, and now I understand why people are really hating on Bush.
Every time I bring this up to someone I know, they claim they aren't into politics, it has nothing to do with them, so they don't want to get involved.
Does that mean we shouldn't help? Help get rid of a stupid Patriot Act that a president created because "Bad Guys" exist.
I cried today, explaining all this to my mom. All the horrible things that the government can and will do to innocents because they "suspect" something just because their last name might be Muhammed. I cried telling her all this and she thought I was practicing for a play. She laughed and told me of her headache and how I shoudl stop talking.
My message to you is to not take it.
Stand up.
Sit in the middle of the street until the cops come. Then sit there more.
Don't take this crap anymore.
Cause I'm not.
