With lessons, your children can continue practicing after school orchestra finishes for the year and be more prepared when the school year starts again in the fall.
Individual Lessons
During Individual lessons, we will work on basic cello setup, technique, sight-reading skills and other important parts of musicianship. We will also get a chance to work on solo pieces. At the end of the summer, you’ll have an opportunity to perform in a recital with other students for your friends and family. When school starts again, I can recommend you to other cello teachers in the North Seattle area so that you can continue studying with during the year.
Group Coaching
During a group coaching, you can learn chamber music skills by playing music with friends. I will find music at a difficulty-level appropriate for all the musicians in the group. Groups can be made up of any number of cellists or string players. You and your friends will also have the opportunity to perform.

Background
I have been playing cello for over 10 years. I am a recent graduate of Shorecrest High School and am currently attending the Shepherd School of Music at Rice University in Houston, Texas to receive a BMus in Cello Performance. I love playing solo cello as well as orchestral and chamber playing. My quartet enjoys playing both children’s concerts and more serious repertoire. I have recently coached through the Cascade Youth Orchestra and their summer program, Summer Sounds.
