Polar Graphics is a leader in the graphic design, product development, manufacture, and distribution of quality merchandise for the Resort, Gift, and Corporate markets. Together with its extensive catalogue of approximately 3,000 SKU’s; Polar’s graphics department creates custom product lines for its customers. Their 100,000 square foot facility houses all capabilities under one roof, including an extensive inventory of pre-printed garments, leading to a high percentage of on-time delivery and high customer satisfaction.
Reporting to the President and as a member of the executive team, the Merchandise Manager helps drive company sales, margins and profitability. The Merchandise Manager is responsible for the following: the company product vision; product development and execution of the product life cycle; analysis of market trends and product performance; production of the annual catalogue and for management of the creative process, purchasing and inventory control.
You have ten years of business experience including product development experience and experience in such areas as; marketing; analysis of industry trends and product performance (using Excel spreadsheets); managing the creative function/artwork; purchasing, and inventory management. You are able to multi-task in a dynamic work environment. On one hand you see the big picture, and yet you are detail oriented and can see the accuracy and correctness of design. Your personality promotes integrity and enthusiasm in an environment of mutual trust and respect.
