Who You Are:
The Manager, Business Intelligence is responsible for data collection, analysis, and reporting of business metrics for purpose of aiding in strategic decision-making. He/she interfaces with IT data warehouse team to ensure accurate and reflective data capture and builds innovative reports that support numerous internal customers. Strong technical, analytical, and relationship-building skills are essential.
Your Next Challenge:
Build ongoing and ad hoc reports through SQL queries, Cognos, several internal systems, and MS Excel.
Interpret data and prepare insightful analyses to translate into information for purposes of decision-making.
Develop new reporting dashboards using Cognos.
Communicate between business groups and IT to ensure accurate and reflective data and calculation methodology in the data warehouse.
What You'll Need:
Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Finance, Mathematics, Business, or related field
5-7 years experience in reporting / data warehouse administration / business intelligence
SQL querying knowledge required
Cognos experience preferred
Industry knowledge desirable
Extremely detail oriented
Strong analytical abilities and quantitative skills
Solid technical aptitude
Ability to work well under pressure and deadlines
Effective communicator
Team player
