Online Financial Innovations, a boutique banking and financial technology research firm is seeking a passionate, self-motivated and hard-working candidate to join our research team as an analyst and market researcher. The job's primary responsibility is to write in-depth research reports and create blog posts analyzing new innovations in financial and bank technology -- specifically various aspects of the online and mobile delivery of retail financial services (e.g. mobile banking, P2P lending, online PFM).
Desired qualifications:
--Work experience in retail banking or finance industries specifically in product development, technology, marketing, software, user experience and/or (market) research
--Passionate about technology, finance, mobile devices, banking, the Internet and innovation
--Technologically savvy, with a high level of comfort with online tools and applications
--Self-motivated, hard-working, and organized
--Excellent writer who enjoys writing
--Good online and offline research skills
--Good communication skills
--Basic statistical analysis skills
--Willing to travel occasionally to various industry conferences
--Located in the Seattle area for regular status meetings
This position is a 6-to-12 month full-time contract position with possibility of contract extension or becoming a salaried position at the end of the initial contract.
This position involves working from some combination of home and our office with flexible hours and location.
