A Seattle area company is looking for an experienced Benefits Analyst who can also take on some areas of Payroll.
This position needs someone with excellent interpersonal skills; the ability to identify and solve problems; and the ability to exercise independent judgment while maintaining a high degree of personal tact and diplomacy. In addition, qualified Candidates will possess the following skills and experience:
- Three years of benefits administration work.
- Three years of payroll administration work.
- One year benefits analysis experience, including the RFP process.
- Experience in interacting with third party contacts, such as consultants, benefit carriers and brokers, including performance monitoring.
- College degree with a major in Business Administration, Human Resources or other related field highly preferred.
- Certified Employee Benefits Specialist designation preferred.
- The ability to prioritize, manage and coordinate the development and implementation of various projects.
- The ability to communicate both verbally and written in a clear and articulate manner.
- Demonstrated application of customer service skills, shown through the ability to use judgment in balancing the needs of the customer while considering the policies and procedures of the company.
- Demonstrated proficiency with PC based computer skills, specifically Excel and Word.
- Familiarity with Ceridian.
- Basic math skills.
The hours are Monday through Friday from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm. This is a temporary position that pays $19.00 per hour.
