Benefits and Payroll Analyst

A Seattle area company is looking for an experienced Benefits Analyst who can also take on some areas of Payroll.

This position needs someone with excellent interpersonal skills; the ability to identify and solve problems; and the ability to exercise independent judgment while maintaining a high degree of personal tact and diplomacy. In addition, qualified Candidates will possess the following skills and experience:

Three years of benefits administration work.
Three years of payroll administration work.
One year benefits analysis experience, including the RFP process.
Experience in interacting with third party contacts, such as consultants, benefit carriers and brokers, including performance monitoring.
College degree with a major in Business Administration, Human Resources or other related field highly preferred.
Certified Employee Benefits Specialist designation preferred.
The ability to prioritize, manage and coordinate the development and implementation of various projects.
The ability to communicate both verbally and written in a clear and articulate manner.
Demonstrated application of customer service skills, shown through the ability to use judgment in balancing the needs of the customer while considering the policies and procedures of the company.
Demonstrated proficiency with PC based computer skills, specifically Excel and Word.
Familiarity with Ceridian.
Basic math skills.

The hours are Monday through Friday from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm. This is a temporary position that pays $19.00 per hour.
