Planning to take trip and want to bring your dog with you? Worried about your pooch being loose in the back of your car or truck? This portable kennel is made of durable plastic (beige color). You can use it to transport your pet either on an airplane or in a motor vehicle. It is large enough to accommodate most breeds, perhaps with the exception of very tall dogs such as Wolfhounds, Great Danes, or Mastiffs. I used it to transport (one at a time) two different labrador retrievers each weighing approximately 80 lbs. between Chicago and Alaska and between Chicago and New Orleans. It meets all airline travel and safety requirements. It has ventilation holes along the sides and back and a swinging wire front door that locks into place using a spring-loaded latch. It comes with a bed that is custom-fitted to the bottom and water and food dishes; you can freeze water in the water dish so your pooch will have something to drink during his or her journey. It can be disassembled by unscrewing the top from the bottom.
