We are looking for some new blood at the oldest restaurant on the west coast.

Job summary
Bartender:
• Class 12 Permit and Food handlers permit.
• Open/close bar when called for opening or closing shifts.
• Knowledge of proper identification to meet state age requirements for purchase of alcohol
• General knowledge of mixed drinks.
• Pour wine and beer.
• Point of Sale/Cash register. (We can train you to use ours.)
• Bar promotion. Required to do a weekly promotion to help increase revenue of bar.
• Clean bar, glassware and bar area. Hourly checks on washrooms.
• Maintain list of liquor bottles emptied during shift.
• Serve customers in a friendly and helpful manner.
• Perform various lifting and carrying activities such as replacing kegs on line.
Cook:
• Food handlers permit.
• Class 12 Permit (Not required but helps to perform other duties within the bar.)
• Open/close kitchen when called for opening or closing shifts.
• Prep kitchen for shifts.
• General knowledge food.
• Take inventory of food create 86 list.
• Bar promotion. Required to do a weekly promotion to help increase revenue of bar.
• Clean dishes, utensils and kitchen area. Hourly checks on washrooms.
• Help bartenders in a friendly and helpful manner.
• Perform various lifting and carrying activities such as replacing kegs on line.
