We're looking to hire a sponsorship manager for our New Years Eve gala ball. We're hosting an event for ~1500 people, it will be very upscale and black tie, and a very attractive platform for northwest and national sponsors to present their brands.
We're looking for all levels of sponsorship for the event - from sponsoring drinks, a lounge, a corner of the room, etc... right up to naming rights for the event.
You must be a go-getter, IT-savvy, willing to be proactive, and have an extensive rolodex of contacts regionally and beyond. You must be able to sell ice to the eskimos, and sand to the Arabs. You must love to work in a fast-paced environment, and able to execute without direct supervision.
This is not a full time job - you should already have at least a part-time job - but ideal for someone looking to leverage their existing connections to bring some amazing brands to an amazing platform for exposure.
Interested applicants should send a brief containing background and qualifications along with any relevant experience. We will be paying a 20% commission on cash sponsorship acquired and believe $50,000 in cash sponsorship for this event is a realistic target.
