Program Overview:
Are you interested in a career in promotions or in the nightlife industry? Then is the perfect opportunity for you! The Fusion Promotional Representative Program offers you a chance to learn first hand how to execute and promote a night club and its exclusive events. The techniques and tools that will be presented to you will be the first step in your success in owning or operating your own promotional company and or even a night club someday in your future.
Position Description:
The Fusion Promotional Representative Intern (PRI) will act as an ambassador/representative of Fusion Ultra Lounge and will need to act in accordance to a personal and professional standard of behavior while promoting in and out of the club. The Fusion Intern (PRI’s) main focus/role will be to compile a guest/VIP list for a designated night or event. While executing your main task you may also book and host private parties and birthdays for extra revenue and potential hire as an Event Coordinator if done with great success. There will be many opportunities for growth in this position if you put forth hard work and utilize the tools that are given to you. The PRI will report directly to the Director of Marketing. As a PRI of Fusion, Interns are expected to use their promotional skills and knowledge or there campus to ensure optimal implementation of all promotional tools. (I.e. flyers, posters, giveaways)
Responsibilities:
Key Focus is to PROMOTE Fusion and get your friends and all your friends’ friends on your personal list. To best describe this model you will need to compile a list of 25 people per night as a minimum requirement to stay in the program. You will type out the list and have it ready by 8pm the night of however you may pencil in names before 10pm but no later. You may also be asked to join the (FU) Fusion University Promotional Street Team where you will pass out flyers at concerts sporting events and other related activities for extra revenue.
Benefits/Compensation:
As described above the list that you will compile you will be compensated $3 per head that attend the evening on your list. The 25 person min will gross you $75 a night but as soon as you reach 30 people your pay will be bumped to $100. With more people on your list you will have more potential for higher earnings.
Fusion PRI’s Interns will gain experience in the key areas of Promotion/marketing:
- Brand awareness (i.e. Placement of promotional banners, posters, flyers and promotional materials)
- Product trial (i.e. energy drinks, soft drinks, local apparel)
- Lead Generation (i.e. contests, text message giveaway program, VIP email list, sweepstakes)

Length and hours of internship:
While there are no set hours per day or week for this position it is strictly based on personal performance! You will be given a two week trial basis to see if it’s a good fit for you and the company at which point the management and the director of marketing will decide to proceed forward or end your evolvement in the program. There is also no ceiling to this position, as mentioned earlier the room for growth will be determined by your drive and willingness to succeed with the tools given to you within the program.
Qualifications:
What we look for in a (PRI) Promotional Representative Intern at Fusion Ultra Lounge:
 Must be 18 and over
 College/High School Student studying or wanting to study Marketing, sports management, business, communications or related field.
 Ability to work in a fast paced, high-demand environment, Late night atmosphere
 Outstanding interpersonal communication skills
 Confidence to share ideas and the ability to grasp new concepts quickly
 Must be enthusiastic, highly organized self motivated, be able to demonstrate leadership and problem solving skills and be passionate about promotion and the night life industry.
 Must have high energy and positive outlook and attitude, out going, socialite of the crowd
 Must LOVE the night life because lets be real this position is the epitome of night life!
