Strut the Pup is looking for experienced dog walkers and pet sitters in the Seattle and Kirkland/Bellevue areas. HEY, WE'RE DIFFERENT!

Caring for pets is a fun, rewarding and healthy occupation. You’ll be able to spend time with a lot of great pets, be outside and get exercise, meet interesting people and make some extra money at the same time. Strut the Pup is a rapidly growing, professional and fun company providing clients with dog walking, pet sitting, dog bathing and other pet care services. If it involves pets, we do it! Here are just some of things that make Strut the Pup different:

FLEXIBLE, CENTRALIZED SCHEDULING:
We will track all of your assignments for you in a central database and online scheduling system, and let you know when there is a new opportunity in your area. You can access your schedule at anytime, from anywhere with an Internet connection. Dog walking generally occurs between 10am-3pm but evening walks are available as well. Overnight pet sitting is, well, overnight!

SUPPORT, TRAINING AND OTHER BENEFITS:
At Strut the Pup we strive to be a great company to work for, and we know that includes giving you the tools you need to succeed and being available when you need help. As one of our sitters or walkers you’ll benefit from ongoing one-on-one training and support, including basic animal behavior training, Pet CPR and First Aid certification, and time management tips. As a Strut the Pup team member you’ll also get discounts on pet supplies and advanced training courses. We encourage our entire team to take advantage of these deals. We also have branded t-shirts and bags, and free poop bags and training treats - BONUS! : )

PROFESSIONALISM AND GROWTH:
Strut the Pup is a highly-visible brand that is recognized as a trustworthy, reliable and fun company. We’re licensed, insured and bonded, which means you don’t have to incur this cost. This is an important and costly requirement that has become a standard in our business; it gives clients peace of mind knowing that they are hiring a professional and safe company to take care of their pets and home. We also have the resources and talent to maintain an aggressive and multi-platform marketing campaign that’s visible to many thousands of potential clients every day; as one of our pack leaders you don’t need to worry about getting new clients. And we get new clients regularly, so if you're looking for a job with growth opportunities we're possibly the only pet care services in the Seattle area that can truthfully say you can grow as we do.

MAKE EXTRA MONEY:
As one of our pet sitters or dog walkers you’ll earn a commission for every job you perform. Pay begins at $10-12 per 30-minute visit and goes up depending on additional pets in the home, longer visits, etc. Pet sitting begins at $30/night and also goes up from there. If you want to make extra money you can get a generous commission for each new client you refer to Strut the Pup. If this is something you're interested in pursuing we’ll provide you with all the materials you need, including fliers, business cards, etc. We have a complete arsenal of marketing materials.

To apply visit our website and complete the online application in Jobs, under Contact Us. We'll review your application and let you know if we think you'd be a good fit. Please note that due to the large number of applications we receive we cannot promise to respond to each applicant; we will contact you if we'd like to speak with you more. Holiday availability is great! Please note you must have a car for a dog walking position as it requires travel between clients' homes.
