Description: Digital music start-up located in Seattle is looking for motivated and bright people to join our software development team.
You will find yourself working side by side with full-time engineers in an informal, but demanding setting.
Both full and part-time positions are available.
Required
- Capability in ASP.NET and C# 2.0; an understanding of the ASP.NET Page life cycle; ability to write your own web handlers (audio/images).
- Adobe Flex/Actionscript experience. Bonus points for networking code and handling media off the wire.
- At least 2 years of writing HTML & CSS. Awareness of cross-browser style issues and best practices for implementing designs around these constraints.
- At least 2 years of sophisticated Javascript development.
Bonus points for jQuery experience.
- SQL experience. Bonus points for SQL Server 2005.
Nice-to-Have
- Experience managing large databases.
- Experience in the creation/management of "viral" assets on social networks a plus.
- Complete understanding of the HTTP spec.
- CS Degree a big + but not a deal breaker if does not have (as long as has two years of building functional websites)
