A Magnolia family with two working parents is searching for a Mother’s Helper. Position is available in mid-August and we are now interviewing. The primary goal is to keep the structured household routine running smoothly between the weekday hours of 3-6:30 or 7:00pm - after school until the parents get home. We hope to have someone who can stay with us through the following summer as well.
There is a 10-year old girl and 8-year old boy. Both are bright, outgoing, energetic and very strong students. We place a strong emphasis on education and are hoping to find someone who has the same orientation, among the other qualities we are looking for in the successful candidate.
Pay is $13-$15 per hour. You should have your own car, insurance and a clean driving record. We will provide a gasoline stipend. One week paid vacation, coordinated with our own, will be provided after one year.
Daily Responsibilities include:
>Picking kids up at school on Capitol Hill and driving home to Magnolia
>Directing kids through completion of their homework
>Shuttling kids to sports practice and play dates as needed
>Making lunches for the next school day
>Generally keeping the kitchen and house running including
