KLC's exclusive educational programs provide unlimited opportunities for the development of the whole child. There's a unique curriculum for every age level, centered on developmentally appropriate and fun activities that help children develop physically, intellectually, emotionally, and socially. In the classroom and on the playground, age-appropriate concepts are integrated into all aspects of play. These concepts are implemented through games, songs, stories, art activities, and Discovery Areas play. By providing children with activities that match their developmental needs and abilities, learning occurs easily and naturally.
Teachers are responsible for the care, hygiene, curriculum, developmental activities, specialized programs, and redirection of children. Teachers communicate daily with families and maintain classroom records, cleanliness and overall structure.
Infant & Toddler Teachers:
Must have an understanding of Early Childhood Development for Infants & Toddlers and utilize our KLC curriculum to plan activities for their active learning stages.
*Minimum of a High School Diploma; CDA, Associates, or Bachelors in Early Childhood Education Preferred.
*An understanding of the developmental needs of young children
*Must demonstrate strong customer service skills
*Strong organizational skills
*Minimum of 3 years working with children
*Engages with current and prospective parents and family members and is responsive to their needs
*Ability to pass a background check and willingness to complete job related training
*Flexible schedule
Cook/Teacher:
*Minimum of a High School Diploma; CDA, Associates, or Bachelors in Early Childhood Education Preferred.
*An understanding of the developmental needs of young children
*Must demonstrate strong customer service skills
*Experience with children
*Engages with current and prospective parents and family members and is responsive to their needs
*Ability to pass a background check and willingness to complete job related training
*A basic knowledge of safe food prep and kitchen practices.
*Strong organizational skills
*Ability to prepare and serve food on our menu.
*Must have or be able to acquire a food handlers permit.
