We are a small in-home childcare that is located in the Seward Park/Columbia City neighborhood.
Seeking a Positive, artistic, heart-centered Teacher to close in the afternoons. Candidate must be reliable, have knowledge of Child development ages and stages, be open minded ,present and practice patience and anti-bias philosophy.
Duties include:
Develop and maintain supportive relationships with each family
Classroom Management (carry out consistent routines and transitions that are age appropriate)
Construct a curriculum that engages children actively in the learning process, provides a variety of developmentally appropriate learning experiences, and encourages children to pursue their own interests
Work collaboratively as a team, and closing each day.
Requirements:
At least one year working with preschoolers in a group setting preferred
ECE education preferred
Strong candidates will be professional, patient and possess a child-centered philosophy of how children learn and grow
Knowledge of child development and learning
Salary
Depending on Early Ed. Classroom Experience and Early Childhood Education
Shift:
Monday thru Friday 2-6 PM
