Kids Company @ Adams Elementary is enthusiastically seeking a qualified full time preschool teacher.We are looking for someone who can create and implement a fun, stimulating, and culturally relevant curriculum to our diverse group of toddlers.
Expectations:
* Construct a curriculum that engages children, is developmentally appropriate, and encourages children to pursue their own interests
* Provide daily classroom management, including consistent routines and transitions
* Maintain a reciprocal relationship with each child and family
* Work collaboratively with colleagues in a professional manner
* Utilize staff planning time effectively
* Strive to help us reach national accreditation.
Requirements:
* Knowledge of child development and learning
* ECE education-- AA or 45 college credits in ECE
* At least one year experience working with preschool children in a group setting
* Current First Aid/ CPR certification
* Food Handler's permit preferred
* Ideal candidates will possess a patient demeanor, creativity, and appreciate a child-centered philosophy of child care

* $12-$16 per hour dependent on education and experience
