Pike Market Child Care and Preschool (PMCCP) is seeking a qualified full time toddler teacher to develop and implement a fun, stimulating, and culturally relevant curriculum to a diverse group of toddlers in our accredited and progressive preschool. PMCCP is accredited by the National Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC)

Duties include:
Develop and maintain supportive, reciprocal relationships with each family
Classroom Management (carry out consistent routines and transitions)
Observe, assess and record childrens development and learning progress
Construct a curriculum that engages children actively in the learning process, provides a variety of developmentally appropriate learning experiences, and encourages children to pursue their own interests
Work collaboratively with experienced co-teachers
Requirements:
At least one year working with preschoolers in a group setting preferred
ECE education preferred AA or 45 college credits in ECE a plus
Strong candidates will be professional, patient and possess a child-centered philosophy of how children learn and grow
Commitment to Professional Development -- including Anti-Bias / Anti-Racist Development
Knowledge of child development and learning
Salary & Benefits:
$10-- $16/hour Depending on Early Ed. Classroom Experience and Early Childhood Education

$20/month bus stipend
Tuition Reimbursement for college level Early Childhood Coursework

Paid Holiday / Sick / Vacation time
Shift:
Monday --- Friday 9am 5pm
8 hour shift w/ 45 min. lunch & (2) 15 min. breaks
