Details:
2001 Golf TDI, Silver, 2nd owner, 85k miles, clean title/VIN, no rust.
New rear brakes (pads/rotors/calipers), new turbo, all VW maintenance up to date.
The car was purchased in 2006 and converted to optionally run on Straight Vegetable Oil in 2007 via a custom conversion kit from Greasecar.com. The veg oil is stored in an auxiliary tank, in the boot of the car in the spare tire well. Apart from the switch between the seats, and the fuel gauge indicator the car is indistinguishable from non-converted cars.
1) the car has never been started cold on veg oil, 2) never been run on a bad batch of oil. Basically, the vegetable oil system is like new.
