HTML pro needed for trouble shooting an email template.

We have created an email template that has a header that consists of multiple images that have been sliced from a Photoshop file. The template looks great in most email clients, but Hotmail and Outlook are showing a break between each row of images in the header - and inside of that break the background color is showing through. So we have a really cool graphic that has a grey (background color) line running through it. We've tried to back up the images with a "background image" at the cell level but it's not matching up just right. We're supposed to launch this email tomorrow so looking for someone to nail this thing tonight. Could be an easy 5 minute fix, or could be a night mare start from scratch scenario. I'm convinced that it might be something basic and the guy doing the coding has just been staring at it too long. We need a fresh perspective.

I am a startup looking to move my existing Dreamhost sites to Amazon EC2.

I used the virtualmin 3.63 AMI and have the site semi-working.

Problems I am currently experiencing:
- Connecting to Dreamhost MySQL Server
- recompiling php
- reload php.ini
- Restaring apache (would should reload php?)
- Starting ProFTPd. Error we receive:

Failed to start service :

- warning: unable to determine IP address of 'etch'
- error: no valid servers configured
- Fatal: error processing configuration file '/etc/proftpd/proftpd.conf'

Here is a description of how the application:
- CakePHP application that uses MySQL running on a Dreamhost Private Server.
- Multiple domains point to same directory that contains CakePHP application
- PHP determines which site to serve depending on the domain

It has been running on Dreamhost for the last year, the transferring over to Dreamhost is difficult though.

I have roughly $150 available. What are you willing to do for that? My other company also will need to be hosted on another instance soon, so repeat work is possible as well.

I have an old web server which I did not setup. It is a huge mess. Recently I ran into an issue where PHP pages connecting to my PostgreSQL database are returning very slow. We have a bunch of AJAX calls which come back even slower. At around the same time my WebDAV setup stopped working and my credit card processing failed. I think the problems are related. First, even gurus have to go to the mountain for enlightenment, so be easy on me.

I have a simple Delphi 7 Enterprise Datasnap DCOM app that works fine locally (client DCOM.ComputerName blank), or within my home network (client DCOM.ComputerName entered).
However, when I set the client's DCOM.ComputerName to the app server's IP address, I Receive "The RPC server is not available.".

I've tried all of the suggestions and settings I could find on the internet.
If you know you can fix this problem, I'll give you $100.00, regardless of how little time you spend.
I'd be open to using a TWebConnection, instead of a DCOM component, if you know how to make this work.

The Given
I can ping the app server in Auburn from Lynnwood.
I have a simple web site set up on the machine in Auburn and I can see it from any computer that has a internet connection.
The app server is registered on the server machine.
I have set all DCOM settings as permissively as possible on the app server machine.
I have a valid user name and password on the app server machine.
Both the client and app server are "permitted" in the Windows Firewall exceptions.
I do have McAfee software installed on the app server (free from Comcast), but its firewall is disabled.
My IP address only changes when I rest my cable box.
I have DynDNS IP updater running on the app server machine.
Every time I receive the RPC error, I check and I am still able to connect to the app server machine using Remote Deesktop.

It gave me a little repetitive shifting, beep, shifting, beep when I tried to turn it on, and my computer no longer recognizes it in Explorer. I suspect it is no longer functional. I was in the process of upgrading to Windows 7, and had all of my backed up data on this hard drive (~120GB). I realize getting all of the data back would be mighty expensive. Hi! Growing, successful Web development company is looking for a iPhone Web app developer in the Puget Sound area. Required qualifications include proven at least one app in the store.

Candidate must be a self-starter, resourceful, problem solver, organized, conscientious and very detail oriented. Ability to plan ahead, set and keep to time budgets is key. Candidate must be able to communicate clearly both verbally and in writing, and work effectively under deadline pressure with multiple projects. Must be able to set and manage deadlines, and work independently as well as in a virtual team.

Most work will be off-site, but candidate MUST be available for some on-site work in the Puget Sound area. Candidate must be pursuing freelance/contract work full-time (not moonlighting) and accessible during regular business hours.

This is a two part project.
Part 1 : Script an existing FLA to integrate with an existing MySQL database. Functionality will include a login process for the user. The FLA will then be published as a standalone SWF that can be loaded into an empty movie clip on the stage of an existing website.

Part 2: Build a backend page that will allow an admin to manage functionality presented in the above noted FLA/SWF.

I have a older Hackintosh running 10.5.2 and would love to upgrade to 10.6.1.

I am a unix system engineer by trade and very good with computers, but I do it all day for a living and I just don't have the heart to tinker with my PC at home any more. The person who built this machine is busy and I would really like to upgrade. I'm looking for another person in Seattle area who's proficient with getting MacOS to run on PC hardware and who has made snow leopard work with Chameleon. I attempted to do it but the 10.6 disk won't boot all the way and I'm not sure what's wrong..

The Project:

* invitation only website to start with the ability to give out multiple (or more) invitation codes. I know a mod for CB that we could use as a starting point.
* The ability to have registrants refer a friend and earn points or an additional credit.
* An e-commerce site but we're only selling one product at a time. Pretty simple actually.
* A module (probably custom as I can't find one) showing how many people have bought the product.
* Tweaking to a countdown module I found to fit the look of the site.
* Making the site secure
* possibly ongoing if the project grows.
