My desktop PC no longer has power -- the boot up button will not work and the power light does not go on (and of course the screen remains black).

I have a few hundred Word files I need to salvage from the hard drive.

I can go to RE-PC to do this, but they will charge me about $75.

Can you do it for less?

Let me know and please provide resume or some info on your experience and at least one phone # of a reference.
